Talked to Pete tonight. I can be a spare if I cant get in. Can make up 1000 points with 2 of my 3 armies if a filler is needed. Will help out with handing papers out and such too. My terrain is available to use again if needed. Some pieces are unfinished though but the one is a good LoS blocker, so gotta have that there lol.

I have nothing to hide my flyrant behind etc... and i feel like I am just target practice =/ So I am starting to make some more LoS pieces. Found a nice resin coral that provides no LoS a bit, and my large brood nest (that has been sitting in my warhammer storage for months unfinished) has nice hight.

Yes. And tournaments now a days are starting to make sure that the 50% is covered (and that 25% blocks los)... It actually makes it more than just a shooting gallery. That is why all these spam shooty lists have been doing so well (leafblower, razor spam, missile launcher spam) that because there is nothing to hide behind!
I think this will be a great doubles, lots of tough opponents and match ups and good series of challenging missions!
Cheers!

There is a painting competition through Spellbinder. If you buy a model there between now an Hotlead, get it built and painted to be judged by popular vote at the Show.
Spellbinder put up the trophy hence why the model must be bought there.

And you don't have to be in the tournament to take part in the painting comp.

I bought my entry fee in February, so I see no reason why not.

Just to be clear about the organization of our armies....
Will we be using the Warmasters style of doubles(which I think somebody mentioned) or the standard 1HQ, 2 Troops per army?
Also, in the case of a Warmasters style of organization will all the special rules that apply to the army as a whole be used... example taking Shrike will allow both players to fleet if they are both using Codex Space Marines?
Cheers. James.
