Is this a tool that we might want to start using? If we get this sorted out maybe we can work our way to a Team Canada for the ETC in the future? Here is the site. I have recently registered and my player id is: 21351 You can find the site here: Rankings HQThoughts?

Thoughts? Ranking HQ might be useful for promoting tournaments and attracting new players. BUT, are you sure that these are the kind of players you'd want to come to future events? Even if we broke our backs, and got lucky, using every WAAC trick in our arsenal to qualify for the ETC, who can really afford to attend? Furthermore, to get our rankings high enough, we'd have to host or attend so many large tournaments (and win!) that it would be stupidly expensive before we even thought about buying plane tickets. It would be easier, and cheaper, to save up for a year, book the time off work, and just go to Europe. This smells like someone trying to regualte tournament play in a manner similar to Magic. Difference is, Magic is far more popular, and has a far far greater support base. There are many professional Magic players out there that make a good living on the Pro Tour. In 15 years of wargaming, I've never heard of any player doing the same with GW games. EDIT: I just finished going through the RHQ Tavern, the so-called forum of their website. Over 90% of it's content for each game, not the General discussion threads, is just a list of tournament rankings. There's barely even a shred of discussion or content there!
